Liner Notes

This one is for Piano and Choir.

The piano introduction is based on contraction of AbM7/F to an Ab Altered Chord. Its use is both as a harmonic and melodic generator. As it expands through natural counterpoint new thematic material is introduced through the choir.

It is called Escape Plan as it signifies the integral connection between space dust-Light waves-Sound Waves and Biological life.

Perhaps space dust is music? Perhaps Life is Music? Perhaps existing is a cosmic symphony… perhaps😜

Whoa...what an interesting piece! I understood very little of your liner notes and would be unable to paraphrase your lyrics, but the sounds are cool. The piano sounds to me a bit like Keith Jarrett when he's off the melody. The variety of the vocal delivery is great (did I hear a snippet of Queen-like vocals?). Regardless, I enjoyed this...nice work!

Thank you for checking this composition out! I am actually thrilled that this one is getting traffic. Your comments are on point. Keith Jarrett’s improvisations are a place of listening solace for me so it would make sense that his influence finds its way into my music.

I was completely hooked from the moment the choir entered the mix. The piano at the beginning is pensive, almost like a conversation, but then the choir is revelation itself. In the end, it all fades away into enlightenment. Beautiful concept and arrangement!

Thank you for checking this one out. It is an Entropic variations in form. Your thoughts are spot on for what I intended. My thoughts are that “Life” surviving or its “escape plan” lies within the deeper understanding of “waves” as both Matter and Energy. Whatever is at the foundation of this anomaly is also at the foundation of what makes DNA or the double helix function.

Thank you for the listen. This one will probably not receive much traffic but I am glad you checked out my “art”. It is definitely a glimpse into the directions my uninhibited composition goes as I am adventuring.

My theory is that great musicians who already tried all genres and all keys will reach that point of either doing microtonal free jazz, 12 tone music or atonal ambient soundscape, because their brains are bored.
