one last call

Liner Notes
my closing track - in the final stage of grief: acceptance. about losing someone and wanting to just hear their voice one more time and let them know you're still there, but slowly letting them be a piece of living memory. wishing you were here.
surprise! my debut album, dial tone, is out early and now yours.
what a journey this album has been. accomplishing my goal of 14 songs this month feels bittersweet, like opening and closing a chapter all at once. i'm releasing my last three songs with the link to the album!

Lyrics
i met you on the first day of my life you took the train to my city every friday night
and i’m so sorry for wronging you twice it’s the risk you take when you let me blow on the dice
it’s a soft blur somehow so clear let’s meet by the tracks if you’re still here
i fear the worst has come the way you left left me undone but i understand where you’re coming from i felt your pain, i felt your numb i let your rain inside my home i walked away, left you alone you deserved the world and it only gave you some
i’d do it over and over again for a different outcome
i’d give you it all i’d break your fall i’d give you one last call

thank you so much!! such a kind comment. i really appreciate you taking the time to listen! ♡
First of your songs I have heard and I’ll definately listen to some more. Great voice and you created just the right atmosphere with the piano accompaniment.
thank you!! i appreciate it. ♡ i'll have to check yours out as well! happy fawming :))
Congratulations on your release! What a way to introduce yourself to the fawm community. A lovely cap to the album, the dial tone connecting to an inactive line is a heartbreaker. I’m hearing Imogen Heap again, but this is definitely yours personally - great way to pay homage to your influences. Great job, I think you’ve made yourself a few fans this month. I’m excited for you!
ahhhh thank you!! you're so kind. it's been really a pleasure doing fawm with you and others and i'll definitely be sticking around for next year. happy fawm ♡
Beautiful final track. Very hypnotic, sad and poignant. Gorgeous vocals. Congratulations on completing your album. I'll let my friends know. Many people should know about your beautiful work.
thank you friend! ♡ you've been such a kind listener throughout and i'm happy to have shared this fawm experience with you. thank you!
Love it. Love you´re voice! Great production also. Even if the sadness is clearly I think this is very well done!
thank you so much!! ♡ it's been so great to hear your fawm as well.
So fragile and melancholy. The voice and accompaniment work perfectly together. A lovely last track!
much appreciated ♡ hope your fawming has been fun and well!
Beautiful melody and voice, with a real haunting melancholy running through the lyrics. The toy piano sits perfectly in the arrangement too, adding that fragile, nostalgic edge without overpowering anything. It’s intimate, honest, and genuinely moving.
Congratulations on completing 14 songs already too!
thank you so much for the kind words!! i really appreciate the sentiment. your thoughtful review means a lot to me! ♡ and yay, happy to have completed my first fawm!
Wonderful vocal melody. Love the toy piano sounds. This is captivating…
thank you! i saw you listened on soundcloud, thanks so much for stopping by! ♡
I am not crying. You're crying! How beautiful can a melody, or someones voice, or lyrics be. Astonishing work!
