Back in the 1600's Parents welcomed twins Two very pale boys They were scared it was a sin So they kept them inside Until someone saw them there They elders took the boys Even today they still scare

They elders tied rocks To both the boys feet They threw them in the lake In the deepest part of deep They thought if they drown That would prove they were evil Of course the boys died The men said, "of the Devil!"

Chorus Now the ghost of the twin boys Stay near Barker and Bradford Street In the town of North Andover It's there you just might meet Superstition took their lives So their lives were never complete

Some late evening there You might just see their eyes Glowing red in the darkness And you might just hear their cries Sometimes their pale bodies Are seen standing there alone Near where they were taken from Their one and only home
