Most people like to pretend to themselves That life is better than it is So they stand in front of boats in Marinas Like they’ve just stepped out to say hello

This is a great sentiment. I believe the absurdity of social media activity is lost on people who only know a world with this artificial connection to our fellow humans. I like it a lot!

Oh, this is a poignant bit of social commentary. And I love the melody you came up with here! I wonder, if you came back to this after FAWM, if repeating the first two lines of the first verse at the end might be interesting, but I also love ending it the way you have here. Lovely skirmishing work!
