the golden age of nonsense

Liner Notes
Ever have one of those recovered memories that pop up out of some disused neuron after decades?
The other day, Jet Screamer's pop hit from the Jetsons hit me while walking the dog.
Got me thinking of all those 70s and 80s cartoon songs, especially the nonsense ones, so i ran with it.

Yeah, it's not perfect; if i end up using it, it'll get another pass - always changes as i write the music. And the Simpsons reference was entirely accidental, (but i kept it because...)
Wow, does this bring back some memories! I like it. That archies/time thing seems a bit off, though - partly due to breaking the rhyming pattern the rest of the verses follow, and partly because "Last Exit to Springfield" was from '93, so it feels a bit later than the other references.
