I really like the intimate sounding vocals - so nicely featured with the subtle backing track, and I also think the vocoder effects are adding to the very captivating sound. I also love the light tone - it feels magical, a little unsure, hopeful and sweet - almost like it is a bit of a secret maybe. I also love how quietly you sung the final stanza which is the real declaration of love. The lyrics read triumphant but in this context they are delicate. I am just so impressed by your lyrical writing and story telling - and how you draw us into your songs. Really beautiful writing and performing here - I like this song a lot.

Your words here are very relatable, i was definitely feeling this a few months back (but let's not go there!). The gentleness of the vocals and the music lures the listener into a pleasant haze.

Great arrangement, production has some cool panning. It's an interesting pallet of sounds, with the church organ in the back and the gritty guitarish patch in the left. Its a really cool soundscape. A metaphorical stomach ache is a great picture to paint. Really nice work.

I’m not gonna pull a punch here when I say that there seems to me to be almost no affirmation of security in this kind of sound or production, but I really enjoyed exploring how the whole time this sort of genre and your composition is facing toward and teetering toward oblivion with how quickly topics like submission gets out of control or how quickly certain control can be corrupted. It’s like walking on eggshells, but that’s the only thing that separates you from the void. But if that’s all the narrator knows, it’s a security that you can’t “quite explain” to someone on the outside. I guess that’s how the genre gets utilized. Even as a “love song” or a ballad, it’s still unsettling at best while maintaining your sound and quality.

But maybe i’m just waffling. Either way, I enjoyed digging into this one.

I like the synths used; is that a melotron weaving in and out? I didn't expect that drum break. And the sentiment is lovely; my wife and I use similar terms. She is mine, but I am hers. It is the greatest feeling and you have captured a vision of that.
