The sun is shining, a patch of warmth I close my eyes and for a moment bath in light Soak it in, let it fill my soul
And then it is over and my energy is gone Leaking through the gaps of motivation Leaving me with deprivation Wishing the day was already done
I’m just porous material, osmosis doesn’t work Always tired, always hurt Is the world poisonous Am I allergic to life? Are people venomous Why is stupidity rife?
Many are just porous material, pouring poison Always making too much noises Sucking hope and energy Carelessly out of me I feel drained
