Liner Notes

Oh this was an interesting prompt....

Lyrics

Leaking like a broken heart Overwhelmed with love Porous like a child’s balloon Deflating over time

The smallest imperfection Can have a big impact Can make you change direction They say opposites attract

Containers to contain Hearts for storing love Brains for holding thoughts Prisons for perpetrators caught

Leaking like a broken mind Words escape their meanings Phrases you can’t seem to find The process is demeaning

Leaking like a broken heart Overwhelmed with love Like a child’s balloon Over time, till there’s nothing left

I never thought about a broken heart leaking before. That's such a cool idea!

Nice lyrics with some depth. Really great groove choice for the lyrics. Nice work.

Found this one really affecting, and you thought of some powerful images including ones I didn't expect at all 😊

I really like the verse about the different kinds of containers and the rhythmic guitar in the verses.

It was an interesting prompt for sure. I like the image of being porous like a child’s balloon. The line about words escaping meanings was also intriguing. Well done!

Love the dichotomy between containing and leaking, great lyrics with great music.

This sounds proper good! A lovely guitar sound, almost like you've double-tracked it. Surely not? Is there trickery at play?

Another creative and good one! Great comparisons! Nice skirmish!

This is the most interesting song title I've seen in a while. A balloon does not readily spring to mind with my understanding of what porous means and how it is used. I guess if it's punctured, then it works fine enough; but why not just say 'Punctured' instead?

All that said (!) it doesn't matter as it lured me to this lovely tune, mister! j$

Some good points made, however, I would argue that the balloon is indeed porous, otherwise the air would never escape. It's just a slower process.... thanks for listening anyhoo.
