I did all of this today. I am enjoying writing short songs under 3 minutes. It worked for The Beatles.

This was inspired by Bad Bunny's song "Tití Me Preguntó." I loaded up the Modern 808 in Logic and got to it. I came up with that opening riff using one of my favorite sounds in Logic called "16mm Dream Sequence." I've used that synth on so many tunes. That informed the backing chords and eventually the vocal melody.

Lyrically I came up with that first line in the first verse and took it from there. I don't like to say what I think a song is about here, but I see this song being about many things. To me that's the mark of a good lyric. As Nile Rodgers says, DHM: deeper hidden meaning. A good lyric always has that. #rap #pop #atmospheric #dark #vocals #electronic
