another lil dark pop tune for ya. i wanted to play with the idea of kind of a gothic, vampiric piece. added a few lines to reflect the vibe.

The vibes you create musically are just so amazing, and the vocals are so dreamy/trancelike. Lyrically solid as heck too I especially like "if you are a god i am your creation a fruit in the garden of temptation"

Are you releasing a physical copy of the album or just digital? Was just curious.

i like the soft violin in the back ground, adds an extra darkness. if you don't know the track you should check out Lullaby by The Cure which I think may be the creepiest pop song ever released - some great lyrics here

I like the repetition of the minor scale in the background for the beat. I like how it is used for the 1st and 4th stanzas in parallel with the lyrics. Solid track.

That melody is winding and twisting and turning like a spider's web. The lyric and music marry well. Do you write lyrics first or music first? Cool stuff!

ah thanks for the listen and comment! it totally depends, sometimes the lyrics come first sometimes the melody does. sometimes i just sit there and build a song for fun from drums/beat to top layers. i write constantly and sometimes if i sit down and want to make a song i'll visit my catalog based on my mood. i find lyric creation to be one of my favorite parts of music making!
