Organoid

Liner Notes
I wanted to both create a rock track and use one of the fantastic organ simulations on my Roland Fantom 08. I often fire up one of the organ sounds to just have a play with and practise, but I've rarely managed to fit one of them into a track, so now I have. They are really cool emulations, it comes with touchscreen drawbars and rotary speed adjustment and overdrive, the lot.
The song started out with just the organ solo that you hear and the rest of the track is built around it.
I'm at that stage of FAWM where I'm now trying to figure out which way to go and what to try and finish, I have various ideas in the DAW and as I have had hardly any time this weekend, it was a case of "which idea can I finish tonight".
This is the winner, such as it is.
Used to make this song: Reaper DAW Roland Fantom 08 'Wide Spread Organ' Native Instruments Abbey Road Vintage Drummer, Electric Sunburst & Strummed Acoustic guitars, Prime Bass with some Soundtoys Little Radiator and Ambient Reverb

That organ brings a very nice old school heavy rock feel to this. Hearing Deep Purple and Blue Öyster Cult in this one. There's also nice dynamics, and I like it how the organ is at first introduced through a breakdown and then brought back as part of the whole wall of sound.
Deep Purple and BOC, thanks, that means a lot!
I can totally see this as part of a video game that devoted fans go to Japan in order to buy the OST for
I love this listen! So many cool little sonic details within a very clean and powerful tune. Fantastic!
This is epic!! The organ sounds amazing- love all the details about the emulation! This track feels so ecstatic, like you have a new lease on life and you're striding around feeling fantastic about it. So beautiful!
The Leslie effect on that organ is doing nice things to my ears. Gorgeous tone... This grooves along nicely; rock on!
This is a lot of fun. Nice sound choices, and a solid groove. It balances really well.
