I watched an old, low budget horror film called Carnival of Souls recently, and wrote these creepy lyrics (very vaguely) inspired by it last week. But I didn't really know what to do with them until I came up with this tango, which I also didn't really know what to do with. It was fate.

now i see him silent in my reflection his featureless face is now mine i'm the only one who can see him hiding in plain sight the Faceless Man comes for me at night

what will i do when the lights go out? and there's nothing left for distraction when i can feel him near me can feel his breath on my cheek can hear his thoughts in my head can feel the urges he feels now i become a ghoul just like him

the Faceless Man sees what i see, speaks with my voice but still no-one knows the secret i keep that i am and he is me we'll always be one entity intertwined finally combined
