Really like the feel of this. I hate to name drop other artists and I'm not comparing you to anyone, but this song has the same qualities of energy and simplicity that I really like in some Travelling Willburys songs. Enjoyed this!

Hey great to see you posting in FAWM! The first is always the hardest and a skirmish is a good way to just break into it.

You used the 8 words well here, and you sounds good. I know it's an #acousticonetake, so don't be hard on yourself. There's so good stuff here to develop later.

Nice take on the prompt. If you are open to suggestions read on...

There is just one line that niggled me: "just hold it light" That seemed more forced than any of the other uses of the "8". How about something in the area of : "Keep it light" or "Keep in the light" or even "Stay in the light"
