Do it, do it, do it Lyrics © 2026 Nadia Cripps
Do it, do it, do it
Shave it, shave it, shave it off Do it, hold on to this idea now Quickly stop your loud cough You must make it work somehow
Women can't have hairs on face Or on hands, or on legs Not a hint, not a trace Only on their heads
Do it, do it, do it Break yourself to be with us Make it all light bit by bit Run for success. Don't do less
Follow fashion like mad Don't dare to look sad Be accepted by everyone And you will hear from people well done
Do it, do it, do it
Are you saying that this advice is wrong? Now you have my respect. You Are Stong Don't follow ill directions Only you can make right corrections
Never be in someone's pocket Believe yourself. You can rock it Don't fall from true grace You are unique, you deserve your place
Do it, do it, do it
You might feel on edge sometimes When I do or see the signs I close my eyes and sit very still Then music comes, it's better than any pill
And I thank the music for giving strength to me I hope it will help you too to be True to yourself. I'm here for you I know, you will make it through
So do it, do it, do it, do

Fabulous take on the prompt he said sitting in his usual sweats.
As a dedicated NON follower of fashion, I identify with this. My 27 year old daughter would too! She dresses as she likes and bugger the consequences! Takes bravery in these conformist days!
Great lyrics with a fabulous message! The repeated "do it, do it, do it" gives it a really solid rhythm beating throughout.
As a dark full haired girl I feel this!
Nice response to the prompt Nadia! I love how this skirmish is inspiring such diverse work. Love it!
Oh, these are some strong lyrics for sure, with quite a good observation about our crazy society which expects so much from us. Really interesting take on the prompt
Nadia! You have such a beautiful flow to your words. Love what you did here with the skirmish prompt!
Lyrics are empowering well done
