Laddered Nylons
Liner Notes
#bass_first #classical_acoustic #polyrhythm #instrumental #short Messing with my Sire M5 bass and the glorious Skylark bowl-backed nylon strung acoustic. And this happened. I'll try to learn to play it properly once FAWM is over. This is close enough for now.

Bowl backed! I bet it feels all medieval and cosy to hold … I like this so much most of my comment is in the form of a song: Nylon Ladders https://fawm.org/songs/325595 … hope it’s ok to have quoted a snippet of the Skylark …
What an image in the title. Man, I remember those days! But this is totally and utterly refreshing, what a joy to hear the difference between the deep solid bass, the popping percussion, and that glorious acoustic!
Very cool. Love the shift in the middle. Sounds like great playing to me!
Couldn't resist that title but of course when I saw the first image I immediately "got" what you were referring to. And oh boy, what a sound you get out of those strings. Stunning—how can this possibly NOT be playing it properly?
Love how spacious this sounds, wrapping the sweet tone of that nylon string in a lovely ambience. Neat percussive drive to that part too. Nice!
Great title. Love the percussion bopping around in my headphones. Wow, that's a really great sound on that guitar. Gosh, yeah, this is awesome. So nice.
this is a sick groove.
that bass line is so cool, hanging everything together
