Mike: My collab partner has left FAWM which is too bad but as noted, I appreciate his work with my lyrics and he has given me a song with a Spanish chorus to sing, which I have always wanted. This is also a response to the last day of the Fearless Songwriter prompts, a week or so later.

The great @mikegtz and I were paired up on the Random Collaboration thread... and the lyrics Mike were so good that by reading them, the melody came up instantly, so it was really a breeze!!

Some chords and singing and recording more, and we have this mostly acoustic track. I really really like it! I think Mike's singer-songwriting abilities are the underpinning of it all, because I have never in my life made a song that you can actually go about with a guitar and sing.

I tried to record it all fancy, multitrack and all... and did. BUT to no avail, it ended up sounding very odd. So, got the mic some distance away, recorded it (the pause is where I had to scroll to read the rest of the lyrics 😁 ), put a tad of reverb and compression, and there you have it!
