I found myself singing a version of these lyrics in the middle of doing a lot of intense cleanup last week. I found that singing about not doing a yucky task made it easier for me to do it. Originally it was just the singer against the things themself. Then I saw the Anti-valentine's day prompt and decided I could tweak the idea, so that the singer is telling someone else to just forget it.

If you'd like to make music for it, you are very welcome to. And feel free to add subtract verses or words to make it fit your own situation...

Gets the message across of what kind of day everyone around you is going to have if anyone is dependent on you. Otherwise, intense cleanup is a pain.

Great sing a long song! I can imagine a group of laborers singing this and adding verses with different tasks! It sings off the page!

The rhythm and shape feel like a work song — but it makes the case that there is too much for one person to do. I like the way the irony adds to the argument.

You've written some funny verses, and your description contains an interesting philosophy. A few years ago, I noticed that when I said, "I can't do that," I was able to do it in a relaxed way (without any expectations).
