Lyrics

Scattering seeds for a new day Everything I own, I'll give away Wandering the earth, washed in rain Getting strong enough to feel the pain

I'm not made to give up Lemonade inside my cup Seen it all in my mind's eye Takes a lot to make me cry

Dreaming of a place, I'll one day go Hoping more of us will learn to grow Shackled to a life, we'd never choose Wandering the earth in no one's shoes

Squeezing all the juice from all the fruit Digging in the dirt to find the root Then looking to the sky, I see it plain Wandering the earth absorbing pain

Dew upon the earth, sap tapped trees Feeling all at once in one strong breeze Dreaming of a tree from which to eat Stomping on the ground with venom feet

Cool opening chords and piano voicing, very cinematic and feels like a movie score. Lovely vocal and lyrics that capture the magic of determination.

I like how ethereal and dreamlike, and yet grand, this feels. There's portent and mystery and layers, even as I feel like I'm drifting through a gossamer cloud. But more than anything, it's lovely and entrancing, the lyrics and piano painting a vivid, living picture of an internal mindscape. It's a terrific headphone listen.

this is so beautiful! your vibe kind of sounds like a blend of mitski + regina spektor - two artists i love. i love what you did and the lyrics are so great too. bravo, wonderfully done!
