Oh man, there's a whole novel buried in this. In fact I bet there's a great story lurking just in the line "and now my friends hate the mention of my name". Great writing, and a delivery that effortlessly grabs the attention.
Really like the verse melody on this, and your gentle, mournful performance, too. Esp. love the verse that begins "she said she speaks..." and most esp. "the way that light hits her makes me feel blue."
