Here's the first track of a big ole 5-song batch I'm dropping for Valentine's Day, for my beautiful best friend and partner in crime/life. I wanted this song to have the main instrument be the ticking of a clock, but since I have already done a song at 120bpm way back in the day (that no one will ever hear but it still itches my brain), I mixed it up a little by making the song 6/8, which results in a slight syncopation with the ticking.

It's a short and (bitter)sweet intro to the meat of the suite: old love songs that never saw the dim light of day. Thanks for listening.
