Lyrics

Some people are superstitious I always thought them strange And those warnings were fictitious The madman haunting the grange?

But Friday 13th is real, it happens now and then And you should heed the warnings From the ink of my fountain pen IF you’ll heed my words, you’ll make it through till morning

Hang the cross above the door And garlic round your neck Don’t listen to the knocking sound And don’t invite anyone in

They can change their shape, disguise their voices They’re known to be quite cunning But they only have one thing in mind To get your life blood running

They don’t come out in sunlight They fear the rays of day If you see one, you must take flight And hide yourself away

Very haunting and love the foreboding atmosphere it gives, great take on the skirmish.

Your vocals and playing really add to the warning and the sense of dread. Great lyrics and a cool response to the prompt!

Sounds great! I went to this place called the London Dungeon in 1989 which had all kinds of medieval tortures shown with wax figures. I immediately thought of it when hearing this. You did well creating a sense of dread.
