Hi everyone! I’m Caroline (she/her) and I guess this is my 7th FAWM‽ So excited to be back! I’m in my early 40s, I play roller derby (Rainbow Smite, #887) I’m a mom of three (7, 9, and 12 years old), and I’m in the East Bay/San Francisco area.

I transitioned around 2.5 years ago (I’m a trans woman) and haven’t had vocal feminization surgery so it’s been a slow but kind of amazing process learning how to sing all over again. I’ve been vocal training for ≈ 2 years now and I’m starting to feel pretty good about it!

I would love to collaborate vocally or instrumentally! I just got a new Fender tele in dark sparkle green that I can’t wait to put to use, and I also have bunch of others — standard and classical acoustics, keys, strings, cute lil’ ukulele bass.

I won’t be using any “AI” in songwriting or recording, just maybe some Logic session drummers/musicians.

Update from Feb 25th — I’m so sorry for the lack of responses and creative output in the last 3 weeks, I caught a very bad flu (I guess, it wasn’t Covid but it sure was terrible), had absolutely no energy, and coughed so much it destroyed my voice and lung power so that I could barely sing a note. Hoping to get at least one more in but it’s been a bad time 😭
