Y'know. For the past year or so, I've been fighting against my natural inclinations. Trying to experiment and branch out, but ultimately, my home is mashing nu-metal and punk together with electronic elements... and since this year I'm really trying to claim my voice, I don't need to be fighting my composition as well.

So, I tried a mix of the mascvoice and the femvoice. It's not great, but it's still better than the last song, which was better than the song before it, and so on... so... improvement.

One thing I like about this: I... actually like more about this one than I hate. Yeah, the vocal melodies and rhythm are all over, but I'm focusing more on crafting those two distinct voices than actual singing performance... so like... I like this. It's fast, it's got some sarcastic shit. I like it.

I think if/when I revisit this, I'd want to go back to the bouncy feeling in the first verse. Give the verses a sort of bouncy push/pull rhythm.

EDIT: No. I take it back. I hate my voice. I like the mixing mostly, though.

FAWM is all about stretching, but I find myself going to my default mode more often than I'd like. That said, this song has great energy. There's a lot of (appropriately) angry songs on FAWM this year. Which, unfortunately will never be heard if it can't be monetized. My favorite line: "it's empathy, not money, these parasites lack". But they're the ones making choices now, not ordinary people.

Holy Djent chords batman!!! Loving the chaos and theatrics of this one.

My partner's employer gave a talk to make a case for the new Google data-center that they would be providing a water for by removing water from the citizens.

He said "The only thing worse than getting a data center would be not getting a data center." Might as well have said "I already bought my second yacht." This song has perfectly illustrated my rage upon hearing that.

This is Cool!!!! I love the melding of the two genres. As an old punker, I love the driving guitar, but I believe the adding the synths (which are kinda anti-punk) was great!!!
