Whew... this one was a doozy. I started contemplating it on Sunday night & have been working on it for the past several days. I wanted to do something really different than I had ever done, specifically a guitar-heavy song that slowly phased from a #softrock melancholy ballad, & keeps building up until it's harder #rock, so I guess this song as a whole is #progressiverock ?

I deliberately recorded this without a click track both because I wanted certain tempo changes throughout the song, & because I wanted to chase a very organic feel where the tempo is allowed to follow the song's energy.

Not sure how long exactly I spent on this one, but I would guess around 20 hours over the past few days (a solid 9.5 hour session today alone, from 5pm to 2:30am). Thus continues my ultra-high-effort FAWM saga!
