Liner Notes

Happy memories about having chocolate and not worrying about getting fat lol. And chocolate tasted so much better! I had fun composing this piece. I hope you have fun listening. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Nadia this is playful and at the same time full of sweet emotion. I may be able to come up with some lyrics if you’re still looking?

Hi Kristi, yes please, it will be awesome to collaborate again. Thank you so much.

Beautiful sounding piano ... sort of old-fashioned and traditional... warm and inviting. And such a beautiful nostalgic piece. You've picked a perfect title for this piece. You've got me thinking back to my childhood... it was a while ago :). Lovely.

Lovely playing with a very nostalgic and reminiscing feel. I particularly like the left hand offbeat figure in the verses.

I really like the beautiful melody that you've composed here. incredibly pretty.

Very pretty. Kinda reminds me of a certain type of old 40s movies.

How did you capture the childhood joy of chocolate in music? It's like I am tasing the flavours through my auditory sense! Your musical talent and creativity never cease to surprise and inspire me Nadia :)

Chocolate has always been a weakness of mine. Thank you for giving one of my favourite tastes a soundtrack. I love the old-fashioned 'flavour'.

Pretty - it has a rich feel which makes sense for chocolate - also a happy nostalgic sound.

Oooh, I think that's absolutely wonderful, you're making an instrumental song about chocolate! It sounds like pure indulgence – like pralines, very tasteful.

Chocolate DID taste better, I agree. I'm enjoying these warm tones while thinking about chocolates I have loved. The melody rises to some very pretty tonal places. Gorgeous high section!

This is a comforting listen, easygoing, enough drama, but mainly nicely centered.
