#random #skirmish #pop #lyricsonly #needsmusic The book was Beauty Diet, and the bullet point on page 237 described the value of “deep conscious breaths” to maintain lymph flow. I added the decision-making context so I could have a point of drama. The drink-decision combo is not something I know about firsthand — it’s borrowed from the Daryl Hall and John Oates song “She’s Gone.” This came out like one of the existential pop songs of the 1970s — not the kind of thing I would usually write.

Lyrics

You need a decision on the go No time to think I know the feeling big decision And a good stiff drink

But slow down Slow down Don’t give your answer in an instant of resistance Take a minute Put all of yourself in it

Take three deep conscious breaths Restart the flow Three deep conscious breaths And then you’ll know Which way to go Oh yeah

Where to go for lunch Don’t take a bite How do you answer the message Ready to write

But slow down Slow down Don’t give your answer in an instant of resistance Take a minute Put all of yourself in it

Take three deep conscious breaths Restart the flow Three deep conscious breaths And then you’ll know Which way to go Oh yeah

Of course you can do more Stand tall up off the floor Look around Hear the sound The sound of the rational mind But always start With what you feel inside

Three deep conscious breaths Restart the flow Three deep conscious breaths And then you’ll know Which way to go

Three deep conscious breaths Restart the flow Three deep conscious breaths And then you’ll know Which way to go Oh yeah

Ah this reminded me of my hippy days attending workshops with breath-oriented percussion and dance group "Prana"

There's a lot going on in these lyrics, looks like you really got inspired by those bullet points. Good job
