#indie #alternative #full-production #aliens #ufo #stereorama I was trying to do a song skirmish today about holidays but I took too long. I had something I liked so I just kept working on it. I found a weird holiday called "Extraterrestrial Abduction Day" -Alien Abduction Day is celebrated annually on March 20th, serving as a fun, often humorous, observance for fans of science fiction, UFO, and extraterrestrial-themed stories. It encourages people to look to the skies, watch alien-themed movies, or visit famous UFO sighting locations to "celebrate" potential, albeit purely mythical, encounters. - Maybe I'm not supposed to say it was a skirmish as I finished it hours later but also feels appropriate because it was a direct result of the skirmish?? lol

Fantastic title, sounds like a future national holiday in some parallell timeline. *Edit - read you description - there is one! Get a more 70's vibe from this than your other tracks, but really well made. That steady chugging guitar works perfectly with your vocal. I love the false ending thing and how it comes back for just one more little abduction raid and then ends superabruptly. A nice touch!
The skirmish I saw was to write about a holiday so I looked at a huge list. There are some weird ones.. talk like a pirate day… clean your refrigerator day.. lost sock memorial day.. i am thinking of developing that false ending more but we’ll see. I like the idea of it being over… but maybe its.. Never…. Truly…. Over… 👽 🛸

It's a pretty fun song theme! I love the slapback effect on your voice. I dig the surf-rock vibe that I love on this song. The instrumentation is awesome, well done!
Yeah, i worried its a bit much but glad it hit you ok. The Pixies have some old songs about aliens and had that surf rocky thing so maybe there’s some subconscious connection there.

I love the vocal effects and the whole production! String synths add a nice touch. I like the menacing drive to accompany the possible abduction fear, and then the instrumental tag ending abruptly…ope, abducted!

This was fun, and has a great groove. Reminds me of Josh Ritter a little.
Interesting. I have never listened to josh ritter.. the song i heard did have some musical similarities to some of my stuff. I think i’ll dig deeper into that thanks :)

Grimy, gritty alien rock. I'm here for it! Great mix, production and performance. I love it, especially the synths, backing vocals and vocal treatment on the lead vocal. Great tune!
