After posting my collab with Alyx, this song wouldn't leave me alone. It needs polishing, and my voice to be better taken care of, but it has the soul of what I want from this song. I wrote this set of lyrics after going to a Remembrance Day gathering on November 11 a few years ago. I had begun to deconstruct the worldview I grew up with and was full of rage at the whole institution of glorifying sacrifice.

I do want to clarify, when in the lyrics I say, "Never forgive" I am primarily saying I don't want to forgive the systems that got us here. I'm not aiming that at any particular people. Even if some feel like they are in the 'never forgive' category, all people are capable of change.
