trying to keep moving and writing as much as i can without overthinking each song. that being said, i kind of don't like this one. feels like of like a throwaway song. maybe it can become something eventually. or maybe it's just a fun b-side.

i played all the instruments. the drums were played on a midi keyboard. i used my danelectro 64XT (i broke a string last night on my fender jaguar and haven't changed it yet) into a Sonicake preamp/fuzz and a Mosky spring reverb pedal. i used a sansamp tech 21 fuzzy brit with the fuzzface style fuzz for the panned guitars i used the same fender jaguar into a Boss OC5 octave pedal for the bass

One of the things I'm loving about FAWM is it feels like I have permission to crank out some stuff I'm not thrilled with. Gives me a sense of accomplishment and I feel like it absolutely plays a part in the ones I love getting out of my head. That said, this rips! I love it. It's funny how sometimes you can not feel great about something and everybody else is like "this rules!"

This is great. Really feels like it’s part of something bigger. Really goes well with the other songs I’ve heard so far this FAWM. It really smacks me nostalgic. Heavy vibes for me on this. Cool.

I tell my boss "The future is now old man" at least once a week. My boss is also 10 years younger than me. Your delivery is always so perfect that there is no such thing as a throw away from you imo. I'd listen to it all. Kick ass tune duder.

As the kids would say, this is really giving Devo! And actually, my kids even know who Devo is, so they probably would say that. I sometimes think they are 50-year-old-men in disguise. Anyway, I love the new wave sound here, especially the vocals. And those stops are perfect! Lots of potential here.
