#blackmetal #alternatetuning #metal povosos: Found this pretty sick sounding chord progression, and thought it fits black metal very well. Didn't have the chance to record vocals, so fellow fawmer @emplate came to the rescue. And tbh, it is probably better this way, such are his admirable skills. Also lyrics are his.

emplate: This track by @povosos was so chaotic and sick that I had to give it a go. The insanity of it made me want to channel some Funeral Mist kind of stuff, both in lyrics and in vocal execution. Although I obviously can't reach the level of Arioch, him being one of the best current black metal vocalists.

The tone you're getting here is as much a part of the fit as the chord progression. And the title is a great match for the music. The vocal section is pretty full-on, for sure. Very nice.

I like the dissonance, rawness and the chaotic feeling of this a lot! It's relentless and violent. I actually think your vocals work nicely here, but I'm also at your service if you'd like, heh!

I’m sitting here at 4:30 in the morning listening to the coyotes howl and to this song. The chords and driving sound made me think of the chaos of the predators in the woods at night while we think of the peaceful serene woods at night. (Your title may have had something to do with it 😁) Great song!!!
