Hot Cocoa

On a cold winter’s day everybody understands That there is nothing better than a hot cocoa in your hands But any other time hot chocolate is for children certainly not for a grown-up You’ll find people looking at you strangely when you ask for a cup

You’ll be remembered for eternity As the odd one who drinks cocoa and not coffee If you don’t want to be a minority You should better stick with tea You should better stick with tea

But no matter the looks I will not see reason I’ll drink hot chocolate in every season For breakfast or with sweets and cake A night-cup won’t keep me awake

Cocoa is the drink I trust, comfort in a storm An embrace, a mother’s kiss, I feel good, loved and warm An echo of a childhood past And even once the cup is empty that joyful feeling lasts Hot chocolate is the drink I cherish hot cocoa is the drink I love
