I had a blast working with @cblack's lyrics last year, so I begged them for some more... and they delivered. Inspired by the "Worst sound in the world" skirmish. The reference to an "immortal" in the third line put me in mind of Unleash the Archers. So I wanted to do something fast and powermetal-ish. At 120bmp it's pushing the limits of my ability to cleanly(?) play sixteenth notes.

I'm pretty sure I stole the breakdown entirely from one of the songs I did last year, but it fit kinda perfectly. Not ashamed.

Hell yeah, great cowrite. Proper old school heavy metal sounds and lyrics. Who cares if the breakdown is stolen from last year, it's just right.

Great stuff, love the pace then that half time feel breakdown was a nice change up. Definitely got big power metal vibes to it.

Only 120 BPM? I thought it was 180 something! This is the energy I expected to start my FAWM but well... things happened. Now I'm happy to smash stuff in my head instead of physically. This rocks! I love this mix of cleans and growls. 😈🤘🏻

This is proper. Great combination of lyrics, lovely vocal, and propulsive driving drums and guitar. Stealing from yourself doesn't count! Good job. Loving your work man.

Awesome groove here! You really capture the right kind of power metal vibe with this! The vocals are awesome. This feels like the proper old school power metal, not that soulless and plastic stuff the genre is known for nowadays. A bit of Manilla Road in there.
