I Can Feel (c) 2026 raspberry33
Verse: I can feel warm, but not cold No longer timid, now, I’m bold Got a great hand, I’m not ready to fold I can feel - we’re in love
V2: I can feel joyful, feel thrilled Maybe stubborn, but call it strong-willed Passionate, though unfulfilled, but I can feel - we’re in love
Chorus: You make me feel emotions Ranging from amazing to great But I can’t see if you feel the same for me Tell me, can you reciprocate?
(instrumental verse)
V3: I can feel lives changing course A great disturbance in the force I’m just the target, you are the source I can feel - we’re in love
Outro: I can feel – I can feel we’re in love Can you feel? Can you feel it too?

This really captures the excitement, optimism and caution of new love. Great take on the prompt.
Your lyrics are terrific! Squeezing “reciprocate” into a song gets a big thumbs up from me. The vibe is classic with that “we’re in love” refrain holding it together perfectly. Great work.
Thanks! Honestly, partial credit goes to FAWM for the new "reciprocate" button for that particular line. It will be interesting to see how new connections are formed thanks to that button.
What a joyful love song! I like the structure of the verses and the instrumental is great! I can imagine a couple waltzing and singing this in a musical. :)
What a beautifully upbeat song - just what I needed. Lovely vocal styling that really brought your lyrics to life. Cool descending chord pattern in the chorus. I also like the recurring melodic theme in the intro, instrumental and outro. Great skirmish!
So jaunty and fun heart felt lyrics! Wonderful job!
This is so wonderfully concise and upbeat and full of passionate energy and enthusiasm. The joyful words of love sing off the page with their exuberance! Can’t wait to hear the music!
Thanks, Liz! The demo's posted now. As i've mentioned, I'm on the road and using a borrowed keyboard, with a laptop that's not quite up to my iMac in the studio. I had some qualms about posting this but appreciate all the supportive comments.
Your voice is a beacon that draws me in!
