i wanted to try and write a song every day for as long as i could. but after 5 songs i crashed a bit (mostly because i'm also promoting the new xray xeroxx ep and rehearsing with a new drummer for a show this thursday night).

but today i'm back with this one. it's not my favorite, and the lyrics are pretty dumb (not sure why i threw in a kids in the hall reference) maybe i will rewrite everything. but this is an idea for a song i had last night while i was walking my dog, Merle.

i think it could maybe be an xray xeroxx song with some work.

(the new ep got a write up yesterday, and the reviewer called me something like "los angeles dweeb punk xray xeroxx," so i thought it would be fun to use the word dweeb as an insult. i did not write this song about the guy who reviewed the ep though. he's alright in my book)

i played all the instruments. the drums were played on a midi keyboard. i used my fender jaguar into a Sonicake preamp/fuzz and a Mosky spring reverb pedal. i used a sansamp tech 21 fuzzy brit with the fuzzface style fuzz for the panned guitars i used the same fender jaguar into a Boss OC5 octave pedal for the bass
