Liner Notes

Every album needs a nice outro, doesn't it? I'm not totally convined that this is the right way to end, but it's FAWM, so for now this is what it is. And with that, my album project is complete 😀 #metal #instrumental

So... in my usual, oddly perverse fashion, I manage to listen to the final track of the album first. But, stap me vitals! This is absolutely superb! I'm thinking back to when I first came across your (hi-fi threatening) music all those years ago. I love how your style has matured and evolved, but never lost any of its power and sheer technical excellence. This, oh noble Lord Sapient, has to be right up amongst my favourite tracks - ever!

Oh, gosh. *blushes" Thank you. What a wonderful thing to say! 😁 I wouldn't normally follow up with a recommendation, but really, if you liked this, you might want to try my 5th one, Schism. It's the one I think I'm most pleased with...

Sapient, your whole album rocks. I did not expect more chugga chugga on the last song and it works well

Thanks so much! :D

@aeye

I mean this is definitely a way to go out with a bang on an album. Ending with the orchestra was a nice touch :)

Fantastic guitar tone (on ALL the guitars!) Very much liked this one! ❤️

Wow, epic!! Wouldn't sound out of place on a doom soundtrack, Mick Gordon better watch out!

Epic outro! All the guitar tones complement each other so well! Gosh wow another awesome tune!

Oh yeah, gimme those Sapient trademark lead guitars, I live for them! Great way to sign off. I wish one could create a playlist in FAWM so I could listen to the whole album from the beginning to the end.

Happy to package em up and send em over if you want... ;)

Sure! 🙏 You still got my mail? :)

No expert on outro muic but this works well for me. gentle ends and big middle.

Nice track with an intriguing progression. Fun how it picks up and evolves. It does have one of those dirgy feels that can really only fit at the back of an album. The ominous ending definitely fits with the rest of the album.

Why am I getting a German Hair Metal vibe from this? It's Scorpions-a-go-go until the chugging rhythm guitar kicks in then all is right with the world! Like the synthy outro too very much! j$

Love when the drums switch to doubletime. Also a big fan of bends integrated into the riff.
