love, love, LOVE the Millenium Falcon!! The vibe is both Han Solo and Malcolm Reynolds, honestly, and I am totally here for it!! (Also, I've missed you! Life got really busy and I've been barely keeping my head above water over here.)

Like here the focus on the ship throughout. I think it would be easier to stray and want to include bits about a wooky, or making the focus be main character Hans Solo, but those references are non-existent or minor and instead we get all the details about the ship. And you hit all the highlights i think on the ship.

I especially also like the lines And i know she'll hold together / (here me, baby? hold together). It comes right at the the end of theme and really highlights the untrustworthy narrator and the nature of how everyone really feels about the faclon, and how in that tense stress moment even Hans has a little doubt there (or maybe he always did).

I was hoping to see the rhyme on the word millennial, but it's cool that you just reference it as the Falcon and never bring up the whole name.

I read and took a shallow dive on the other day on the Millennial Falcon, and how the offset cockpit and forked front end is due to is being a container cargo ship where the containers stack on the fork and the cockpit offset to you see where your flying still. Thought was a cool, so neat to see a song about the ship.

I may have watched The Trouble with Tribbles too recently, because I thought this might be a Scotty song. :)

The affection, even with acknowledged flaws, really comes through. I especially like the little aside talking to the Falcon herself.

I love this because I’ve heard sea shanties singing praises of the ships sailing the ocean, but this is the first space shanty I think I’ve heard. It works! So many good lines in here. She’s got it where it counts!
