I'm treating that title as if it's suggesting that the protagonist is trying to divert themselves from expressing what they really want to say. That sits nicely with not just the repressed "things I can't say" in the lyrics but also the quiet delivery. The result is a beautiful song about trying to keep control of one's emotions and not entirely succeeding. Powerful stuff.

cool interpretation! the title was chosen simply because i wanted something silly-ish and letter related, but i like your explanation more!

Very very beautiful. Love the quiet singing - it gives this extra emotion; fragile, insecure, someone who has things to say but lets themselves be drowned out by the louder people. How about simply "I Wrote You a Letter"?
