#incantation #chant #acapella #voice #vocals #songspell This song fought me tooth and nail. I tried it with percussion, I tried it with ukulele. The only way it made any sense was as a vocal chant. This is me invoking what is to me the magic of FAWM.

This is so beautiful! The lyrics are so relatable- song writing is like performing surgery (or a spell!) on the soul. It hurts, but it's necessary! "The scars are songwriting gold" is so true. Your harmonies are oh so perfect. Definitely witchy vibes! The acapella is the perfect choice here. Really really wonderful work here!!!!

This is really a treat to listen to! I use full instrumentation to hide my vocal deficiencies but obviously don't need such a crutch! Beautiful vocals and the layering is magical! I thing you made the perfect choice to do it as a vocal chant! And the many layers melded together do have a chaotic property (chaotic good? no, chaotic great!) but as you so perfectly explained "The chaos is part of the magic"!

I love this, the layers feel like the energy activating some sort of sigil, the harmonies are beautiful, and I agree that the choice to keep it a capella was the right one!
