Woke up, fell out of bed, dragged a comb across my head…
But in all seriousness, beyond a day in the life of Candle; I did wake up, make myself some tea, & then picked up my guitar before I pressed record in Jeskola Buzz. I just started playing without any thoughts in my head, letting my Muse & my hands guide the frequencies.

Really pleasant soundscape. Love all the jangling and panning, and outside of the obvious Frippness, the guitarist Tom Verlaine comes to mind with some of the phrases used.
In the third minute, the overtones resulting from the layers remind me of change ringing at the local C of E, and bouncing off the shops in the high street. Transported? Yes.
Mesmerizing. And the twang, oh the twang.
Yeah, funny how I end up wth a spaghetti western tone sometimes. But it works! Thanks for the listen & the comment. Glad you enjoyed it.

This is tickling my brain in the best way! The layers with the delay create such an intriguing sound, very cool to sit and listen to with my headphones, and melt away to the sounds.
I'm glad you enjoyed the experiænce. Thank you for the great comment!

I wasn't going to pass up anything with those tags, needless to say. That big opening jangle gently fades into something more Mr Fripp's metier and things get increasingly lovely as the layers build and build. I like the way that you leave plenty of space for the delayed signal to have its day.
My Mobius looper VST isn't playing nice with my MIDI setup for some reason, so I'm using the Elottronix XL Frippertonics emulator instead for my "loops". It's not quite the same process, but still lots of fun. As you know, I've used it in the past, but this year, it's taking center stage, so to speak. Thank you for the listen & the always meaningful comment.

ohh yeah, frippertonics in the house! awe-inspiring sounds - the rush of memories in the slowly fading repetition of notes - excellent control of the release - the spark of overdriven tones - the panning moving everything upwards and away, like a spiral to the heavens. so inspiring - makes me want to grab my guitar!! fantastic track!
