Wonderful set of lyrics and the song has such a wonderful laid back care-free vibe. The nice warm guitar tones and your vocal help that too. Kinda Velvet Underground-y but not really (too happy? haha). I just enjoy it the same way. Nicely done!

You skirmishers... I don't know how you do it. This would take me a day to come up with and another day to record it. Skirmish or not, I like it and can totally relate. I love that you didn't end on the I chord but kinda let it travel a bit; matches the lyrics with seeing the light and the possibilities that are ahead. Well done.

Super take on the prompt. It is fun that you didn't go for a quiet "let me sleep" setting, but rather have a happy sounding song that expresses your appreciation of those ghosts.

I also like the little nods to other songs you add in the lyrics. Clever!

Thanks for the comments. It's funny, I can't remember consciously putting in nods to other songs, except maybe "Here Comes the Night" in the first verse. But there are several other spots that I can see that were very likely to have been put together with certain other song lyrics in the back of my mind. Funny how that works!

Aha, right! Carefully rephrased slightly so as not to plagiarize! But again, I didn't do that on purpose. I guess years of hearing stuff like that will cause it to shoot out like that, unintentionally or not!

Has a kind of Velvets/Lou via Dog Latin vibe going on. I like the clean guitars chugging and playing about which fits the concise nighttime lyric and vocal well.

I love the short lines and the gentle warm comforting feel of this song about ghosts that stay with us in beautiful loving ways. Great guitar sound and vocal delivery.
