I was talking to one of my kids about video games and he asked about this game called Metal Gear. I used to love that game. In it you infiltrate this island base on some sort of stealth sub.. that made me think of being deep underwater in the dark abyss.. then images of shipwrecks and ghosts. Somehow this turned into a ghost story of a sabotaged sub and a member of the crew stuck in a timeless limbo just reliving the memory for all eternity in the Marianas Trench.

The basic form came quickly but I really wanted to "deep dive" to develop it and so I geeked out trying to iron out the sonic wrinkles and added small bits of vocals, fx and synth parts. The vocals are a bit out of my range but that's how it sounded to me, in my head, so I tried.
