The sadest part is I'm not even surprised. It's like we're educated as men with a showel to bury our feeling — and any consideration for other peoples' feelings. Hopefully all of us don't turn out to be emotionally as immature as a schoolboy but it fells like all of us would be better off with a little more... empathy ? The brightest part is you managed to turn that story into a bright uplifting fun piece. And boy, does laughing at it fells like a step in the path to solving the problem! There is a smile in your voice, a bounciness in the guitare strumming, and it does wonders to make it lighter. But one could also imagine the very same song with a savage drum and a righteous electric guitare.

This one has me giggling I absolutely adore it. Also “Would you be interested in more chats an intimate way whereby I provide you with a respectful massage?” is a banger line (in the song just to clarify, not so much as a real thing to say to someone)

I wish I could say it's all due to poor impulse control, but I believe it goes beyond that. Some people just won't want to put in the work.

I think you speed up a little too which adds to the drama and is just perfect. This would be a great song for educating guys on what respect mean. i love all the character in the vocals! the punchy emphasis on certain words for impact, the bit of spoken words (like a runalong sentence) for the text message, they're perfect adds. it's definitely a catchy tune. sorry your flatmate went through this though 😭
