Part of ENTOMOLOGICON, my Experimental Progressive #Metal project exploring Insects and other bugs through sound sampling, exotic instruments, unusual time signatures, and atypical vocal styles.
This #atmospheric #doom song tries to create the slow-then-fast panic of encountering one of the most hated and destructive of all insects: The lowly Termite. Though I will say, cards on the table, I think they're neat... I just don't want them in my home.

Sick riffs!!! I am absolutely loving this series so far. "Shrines erected of trees" is killer, all the lyrics are so good. Magnificent work!

Good track. Love the build into the lyrics, interesting to hear gentle vocal delivery until the growl appears - works well though! really solid all through
Yeah, I'm not 100% sold on the delivery myself. This one felt too slow for anything more aggressive, but I want to avoid veering into all-spoken-word stuff. I might redo the vocals for the compilation EP at the end.

Very impressive. Never thought how well insects would go along with prog-doom. And your delivery is absolutely brilliant for this type of song.
