Liner Notes
I had a 2 bar loop of a beat and bassline then I kept away under lock and key until this afternoon. It's the first time I've really played around with grooves in Ableton and I will definitely be doing it more going forward. It's always good fun putting together a BDDT (Big Dumb Dance Track). The lyrics are a bit of a stream-of-consciousness job - however would you have known??
Lyrics
let’s dance put on your lead shoes and fold your arms let’s sway idioms for idiots ‘cause first time’s a charm let’s eat sweetcorn stomaches and broccoli brains let’s thank our lucky stars that we made it this far unscathed let’s walk It’s too soon to run yet let’s ride into the sunset let’s cry happy tears and sad tears and everything in between let’s repeat it repeat it repeat it repeat it til it comes round to good again who knows when?
Oh darling Let us just do nothing Together or alone we’re here and nowhere

Love it. Strong LCD Soundsystem vibes here.
What a banger! Loving the haunting layered background vocals and all the subtle production elements you've clearly had fun tinkering with. Stream of consciousness for the win!
Killer groove but keeps a light touch. Love the choral stuff.
This slaps!
Your beats are the best. This track could go on for ten more minutes and I would trance hard to it. The ethereal harmonies under who knows when are soooo good. I know it's stream of consciousness but it also can read like an uplifting manual for being present through grief/trauma/depression --intentional or not, thank you for the BDDT medicine!
That's a bop. Having a groovy start to this year. Love when the falsetto ahhhhhs come in particularly. and that new synth melody that comes in around the 2 minute mark after two minutes of building up over that main synth rhythm is great, feels like a release of tension. Love all the glitchy and percussive stuff at the end too
Hey. You're in my house.
No it's cool, great to see you here. Come in, the gelatine wrestling pit is to the left, bogs that way, and the main dance floor is up ahead. Go speak to Terry, he'll ... wait.
TERRY! This is Adz, he done that choon you like. Give him a fistful of E and let him into the VIP.
See? Terry'll take care of you. Mind the live wire.
I look forward to hearing this one live! Issa bop
"Idioms for idiots." Love it! Great big, dumb grooves. I especially like the 90s style choral bits!
I like this backing track. I like your vocals and how it all just makes you want to dance, or at least think about doing such.
Life affirming! Very uplifting stuff!! Drop more.
BDDT! Great, it's catchy, direct and bumpy. I love the chorus, the thought of it: „we're here and nowhere“. Very digitally true.
glad you let it loose, hellishly catchy. the lyric matches the style really well! super production! this is a radio quality song!
YES TO BIG DUMB DANCE TRACKS! I'm excited for this next phase from you, the bassline works perfectly and the choir is a really nice surprise. The lyrics sound like something a child might write, kinda dumb but end up surprisingly poignant. I diiig

You make me unhate music. Fuck yeah. Nice build both vocally and musically. Beats. Gorgeous choruses in the second half. Happy pre-valentines day
It's an excellent groove! Love the way the melancholy choir steers things in a completely different direction without losing that bass pulse, and the closing section develops it in interesting ways. Satisfying!
