• @bxphane (instrumental) : It's always a pleasure to collaborate with my Finnish friend! I created the instrumental song and knew I had to send it to him. I used a different tuning (CGDGBD) for the #alternatetuning challenge. I still don't know if I like the sound mixing work I did...

• @emplate (vocals) : We've collabed with @bxphane every year for a few FAWMs now, and it's always great to dish out some gurgles from my throat to his tunes! I'm not sure if I'm that happy with my performance here, but luckily the backing track's great and my mate here did some good work on mixing my vocals in it.

Well done, guys. It's unusually sunny here this afternoon, and I had to pause the song, get up, close the blinds and draw the curtains, and turn off the lights so I could properly commune with my inner bleakness by only the light of this digital psalter which offers up your hymn.

I love it when you two collab. This turned out very dark. The vocals are fierce screams, and I love the almost shoegazey guitar sound. Is there an organ or do I just dream?!

Ooh this is great! Love the really raw and heavy instrumental, and the growls are very on point. This is angry in the best way. The whispered parts add a welcome breathing pause. Superb.

Absolutely epic performances from both of you! The guitar tone is so good and I'm enjoying this tuning a lot. Its dark but still dreamy. I love the combo of screaming and whispering for the vocals, the dynamic change really adds to the unsettling vibes. Really great work!!!

Those are some properly disturbing riffs combined with anguished screams. As they should be. This is certainly good stuff. Only complaint is the way too good recording quality 😀
