So playful! I love the "echo" in the verses.

There's always an element of fear when you're an adult. Aware of what might go wrong. This is such a lovely way to remind us that children shoud feel free while we keep watch.

Nice job Song 9 Team! I can tell a bunch of you were trying new things, which is what this is all about. I particularly like the "Holy gaze, summer ripe" lines. Really cool what you did there!

Thankyou! I thought they were quite poetic lines but I was also worrying them a bit: I was trying to convey the blissful and wholesome headiness of watching and engaging your kids playing on the beach, making sandcastles, running to the sea, walking down the stream, maybe watching them go to the rockpools or off to the cafe or the water with their dad, or packing up when it's still fun on a really pleasantly warm afternoon on a busy beach. I'm glad that people ran with it! That that moment-ness came out!

First time doing the melody on this one - what a cool experience! Sometimes the harmonies were what I expected, sometimes they were different and more interesting than what I'd imagined! Love all the textures of the voices on this sweet, concise lyric!
