I've been suffering writers block the last few years and have noticed that I've been overthinking my lyrics like when I first started songwriting, so I'm trying to use this years FAWM to get past that wall again. Will I be successful? Who knows. But I'm here trying

Congrats on your first song of FAWM! I totally get the overthinking part. I love doing skirmishes in FAWM because you do not have time to overthink. I also love acoustic one takes - hard to do with a new song, but you really pulled it off. I like your lyrical pacing and phrasing, especially in the chorus. Nice guitar work also. I hope it feels great getting that first song out!
