Liner Notes

Needed a simple one to tide me over a day. An old hymn.

Lyrics

No sweeter sound I can recall From evenings long since passed, The patient hymn of the modem's song Sings through my quiet house

No rush, no scroll, no endless feed, No longing, no delay, Now everything arrives at once, And night can take all day.

This is very sweet, and the harmonies take the hymn to the next level. Oh for the days of no endless feed. Remember how that was creepy when it was first a thing? Now the source of so many content addictions...

Cute and weird and fun in the best way!

This is beautiful, I love the harmonies!

I know it's not in the track but I swear I could hear a 56k phoneline modem sound as the song was playing. Great harmonies dude

@aeye

I was half expecting you to break into a 4 part harmony of dial up internet sounds. This was so well done.

I'm old enough to have been impressed by 'dial up' so great to hear a hymn for it.

Lovely double tracked acoustic and great harmonies on the vocals - short and sweet.
