Why "Josephine", I'm not sure. I gave myself a couple of prompts for this tune, I was thinking romantic and orchestral. So I imagined myself being whisked away on a journey, possibly on horseback through open countryside on a bright warm sunny day, I was riding horseback with a beautiful woman and unfortunately it did not appear to be my wife, who is not called Josephine....but this is creativity right!
As for creation, I dragged in a couple of virtual orchestras for this one. Also lots of Stone Voices reverb in here, I find these orchestra instruments very dry and the built in reverb doesn't always work for me, or maybe I just need to learn the interfaces better!

I love the full instrumentation and flow with the heavy drums as an anchor. Lovely phrasing and pacing that takes my mind on an introspective journey.

Ooo yeah, I was pleasantly along for the ride and then that sweet counter-melody came in towards the end and I think a part of me melted in my chair. I'm not sure. But something's wet now.

whoa big sound right off the bat here. I've not heard choir omnia before but you really used it effectively in here. It fits in perfectly with the rest of the arrangement.
Thanks! I got Omnia with Komplete 15 Collectors Edition, although you can buy it as a standalone at typically inflated NI prices 😄

Wow! As I was reading the description it all came to life - every footstep and gentle rhythm of the horse and I don’t even ride. Beautifully done!

Heavocity Damage is your percussion, no? I find I really like the percussion, but how could you argue with the string section (they may not like it lol). Good work, Carl.
