The bridge for this was immediate but the rest of the song took some time. This is my second song that features wine and vague references to life and I guess there have been a few nights this week that are featured pretty heavily in there.

but this song more generally is just about losing yourself in your work, in a bad way.

Production here is top notch, all the elements work really well together. That rising bass synth that comes in is a real hook. Your voice sounds great on everything. Like that old saying “you could sing the phonebook”

Ohh is that a sampled beat? Sounds a bit like Erykah Badu/Madlib's The Healer. It's another stunner, so many intricate moments either sonically or melodically. The classy synth bass jumps at me immediately. Cutting the delay off dead at the end....never change, Kaeli 😉

So so good! I love it how you always find those little in between spaces in the music for your voice. The Instrumentation has a really nice blend of lofi and sheen and the vocal is just ridiculously delicious. Great track!
